Overview :
- Karnataka PGCET is Karnataka Post-Graduate Common Entrance Test. Karnataka PGCET is a state-level examination conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). It is an aptitude test that consists of multiple-choice questions. Candidate should prepare for verbal ability, quantitative ability, data interpretation, logical reasoning, GK & Current Affairs.
- There would be counselling process, used for selecting colleges as per the ranking. 4 to 6 months of proper preparation is necessary for cracking this examination.
- No negative marking in this examination.
Curriculum :
- The PGCET is a two hours Paper Based Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Proficiency in English Language, General Knowledge, Reasoning and General Intelligence & Quantitative Analysis
Paper Pattern :
PGCET (MCA) exam syllabus consists of Part A & Part B with 80 questions in total.
- Part A consists of 60 questions and every question carries 1 marks and there is NO negative marking. (QA, VA, LR, DI, GK & Current affairs.)
- Part B consists of 20 questions and every question carries 2 marks and there is NO negative marking. (Higher Level Mathematics & Computer Application questions.)
